The DNC-2192 is a professional-grade fully submersible Wi-Fi antenna engineered for harsh marine and underwater environments. Based on the proven RF design of DNC-2129, this version features a permanently attached waterproof high-frequency coaxial cable (up to 3 m), allowing the antenna to be installed independently from the main receiver/transmitter at distances of up to 3 meters.

The DNC-2192 is ideal for boats, yachts, buoys, underwater housings, ROVs, and aquatic research systems where reliable surface Wi-Fi connectivity is required in wet, exposed, or submerged conditions.

How the DNC-2192 Works

Water strongly attenuates radio signals, so underwater Wi-Fi systems typically operate by extending the antenna to the surface rather than transmitting through water over long distances.

The DNC-2192 is used as part of a surface-tethered communication system:

  1. Mount the antenna on a buoy, vessel, or external housing location.
  2. Route the waterproof RF cable to your surface equipment.
  3. Connect to a standard Wi-Fi router, access point, smartphone, tablet, laptop, or wireless bridge.
