For GoPro HERO 9–13, HDMI live view normally requires the GoPro Media Mod to be installed before the camera is placed into the underwater housing.

Important Tightening Warning
Before underwater use, always verify that every external waterproof cable connection is fully tightened by hand. Do not use pliers or tools. The connection should feel secure, fully seated, and without play before submerging the system underwater.
Improper tightening may lead to flooding, signal loss, or equipment damage.
