Important Tightening Warning
Before underwater use, always verify that the HDMI cable coupling nut is fully tightened by hand. The connection must feel solid, with no looseness or movement between the cable and the bulkhead connector.
Do not use pliers or tools. Hand-tighten only. If the connector is not fully tightened before submerging, water may enter the connection area and cause flooding, signal loss, or equipment damage.
Mounting Material Warning
Do not use stainless steel brackets or stainless steel hardware directly against the anodized aluminum housing. In saltwater or chlorinated environments, stainless steel can be galvanically aggressive toward aluminum and may accelerate corrosion or surface damage.
For direct mounting contact, use materials such as Delrin (acetal), HDPE, nylon, or titanium.
