The DNC-1107 cable was built for demanding underwater video applications where mechanical strength, flexibility, abrasion resistance, and reliable SDI signal transmission are important.
The cable jacket uses a flexible, low-friction polyurethane material with high tear strength and abrasion resistance. This helps the cable handle repeated deployment, pulling, coiling, and underwater use better than a general-purpose video cable.

3G-SDI Video Performance
DNC-1107 supports the 3G-SDI SMPTE 424M standard, including 2.970 Gbit/s and 2.970/1.001 Gbit/s bitrates used for 1080p60 video formats.
For reliable 3G-SDI 1080p60 transmission, the recommended cable length was up to approximately 50m, depending on the complete system design. For lower-bandwidth SDI formats such as 1080p30, 1080p25, 1080p24, 1080i60, 1080i50, 720p50, or 576i50, longer distances may be possible depending on signal quality, equipment, and connector configuration.

Connector Details

The waterproof connector body is made from nickel-plated marine-grade brass. The compact Dive And See waterproof connector is approximately 45mm long with an outside diameter of approximately 20mm.
