This cable was developed for applications where a VGA video source or VGA-compatible underwater camera needed to connect to a surface-side display, computer, or monitoring device through a waterproof underwater cable connection.
Overview
The DNC-1032 cable uses a waterproof Dive And See connector on the underwater end and a standard VGA connector on the surface / dry end. It was commonly used with underwater monitors, topside computers, phased-array equipment, and legacy video systems where VGA / SVGA signal transmission was required.
The cable is double-shielded and uses three mini true 75 Ohm coaxial lines for stable analog video signal performance. The flexible strain relief helps reduce stress at the connector and protects the cable from cracking or breaking during repeated use.
