FEATURES

Built-in functions of DNC-5A include:

• Focus Peaking: Helps the operator achieve optimal focus by adjusting the focus control until red outlines appear on the desired area, indicating sharp focus.
• Optimal Exposure: For best results, ensure the subject is appropriately exposed.
• Color Options: Offers four color choices - Red, Green, Blue, and White for focus indication.

• Pixel-to-Pixel Mode: The display's native resolution is 1920x1080 pixels. Any incoming signal of a different resolution is usually adjusted to fit this native resolution.
• Purpose of Pixel To Pixel: At times, there's a need to view the incoming signal in its original size without any adjustments.
• Enabling Pixel To Pixel Mode: This feature turns off scaling and presents a 1920x1080 pixel window displaying the original image, with each pixel of the panel representing one pixel of the original image.

Vectorscope, Waveform - will really aid you in getting beautiful shots that are properly exposed, and with vibrant, consistent color

• False Color Feature: Utilizes a range of assigned color indicators to ensure accurate shot exposure.
• Exposure Indicators: Adjusting the camera Iris changes the color of the subject based on specific brightness values, providing visual cues for optimal exposure.

Histogram - to graphically summarize the distribution of a univariate data set.

Zebra - Zebra Stripes is a feature that allows you to see where certain areas of brightness in the frame may be blown out, or too bright.

R/G/B only -  to adjusting chroma and phase

Color bars - Color bars are an artificial electronic signal generated by the monitor itself, for calibrating Brightness and Contrast.

DNC-5A(HS) - this model has converter HDMI to SDI and additional Output SDI bulkhead connector for Live streaming video up to 3G
DNC-5A(SH) - this model has converter SDI to HDMI and additional HDMI bulkhead connector for Live streaming

HDMI Input, HDMI Output

• Capable of transmitting HDMI signals from the monitor to a large screen for instant review, up to 30 meters using the DNC-1066 cable or up to 100 meters with the fiber optic DNC-1034.
• Loop-through capability enables users to monitor filming and send signals to other devices like a film director's monitor.

HDMI Input, SDI Output

• Capable of transmitting SDI signals from the underwater monitor up to 50 meters using the DNC-1062 cable.
• Allows simultaneous display and output of live signals via SDI.
• Maintains original video quality while displaying live footage on the screen.
• Adjusting monitor settings doesn't impact recorded footage or the live output signal, ensuring a clean SDI signal on the surface end.

POWER AND CHARGING CONFIGURATION

Option 1 (standard)

• Certified Rechargeable Battery: UN/DOT 38.3 certified Li-Ion battery with Battery Status Indicator.
• Charging Convenience: Flashing mode signals low battery, while the 110V-240V charger suits various power outlets globally.
• Battery Monitoring: A Check button activates an LED display indicating battery charge level.
• Enhanced Safety Features: The charging port includes a water block and electrical protection circuit.
• Protective Design: The monitor safeguards charging contacts with a water-resistant design even without the Protective Cap.
• Performance Metrics: HDMI version boasts 4-hour continuous runtime with a 3-hour 30-minute recharge time.

Option 2

• External Power Source: The monitor operates using power supplied through a separate cable, compatible with a wide voltage range (DC 7.5 ~ 24V).
• Built-in Protection: Features an embedded Reverse Polarity Protection circuit, safeguarding the monitor from incorrect polarity in power wires, a common occurrence in customized power setups.

Option 3 (only for SDI version)

• No Internal Battery: The monitor operates without an internal battery.
• Combo Cable: Combines SDI signal and power into a single cable setup.
• Compatibility: Designed for RED and Arri Alexa cameras, allowing direct power feed to the monitor from these cameras.
