DNC-2023 Underwater Combo 16mm 3G-SDI + Power/Data Bulkhead Connector
DNC-2023 is an underwater combo 16mm bulkhead connector designed to pass 3G-SDI video, power, and data through one compact waterproof connector assembly.
This connector was designed for custom underwater camera housings, marine electronics, ROV-style systems, and inventor-built underwater projects where video, power, and auxiliary conductors are required in a single bulkhead connection.

Brief Description
This custom waterproof bulkhead connector was designed to support 3G-SDI video signal, data, and power in one single shell.
DNC-2023 supports the 3G-SDI SMPTE 424M standard, including 2.970 Gbit/s and 2.970/1.001 Gbit/s bitrates for 1080p60 video workflows.
The underwater bulkhead connector includes a 3-pin male section for 3G-SDI video and a 12-pin male section for power and data. The 12 individual wires can be used for power or control/data signals depending on the system design.
The connector fits a 16mm opening, such as those used in many Amphibico, Aquatica, Nauticam-style housings, and custom underwater enclosures.
Compatibility
DNC-2023 was designed for use with compatible underwater SDI cable assemblies, including:
- DNC-1060 underwater HD-SDI cable with power and spare conductors
- DNC-1107 underwater SDI video cable with power and spare conductors
Water Block
The underwater bulkhead connector comes with a built-in water block.
The water block helps keep vacuum inside the housing when using an AirLock vacuum system. It also helps protect the housing against water penetration if the external cable or external connector connection becomes damaged.
Options
Custom cable length and different BNC connector types may be available for similar custom underwater SDI cable and bulkhead connector assemblies.
