Water Block Protection
The DNC-2082 includes a built-in water block, which helps maintain vacuum inside the underwater housing when used with an AirLock Vacuum System. It also helps protect the housing from water ingress in case of cable or connector damage.
Installation Note for 7/16-20 Thread
The RJ45 Ethernet connector does not pass through the 7/16-20 threaded port because the opening is too small. Before installation, remove the RJ45 connector from the end of the bulkhead connector cable, pass the cable through the 7/16-20 port, and crimp a new RJ45 connector after installation.
Use the T-568B wiring standard for the RJ45 connector. A spare RJ45 connector is included.
