Important Tightening Warning
Before submerging or using in wet conditions, verify that the coupling nut is fully tightened by hand. Do not use pliers or tools. After tightening, the connection must feel solid as a single unit. When moving the cable, there should be no movement or play in the connector or connection. Improper tightening may result in flooding or equipment damage.
