The DNC-GP17 Underwater GoPro HDMI Live View System delivers real-time 1080p60 video from an underwater GoPro camera to a surface monitor, recorder, or compatible streaming device.
The system combines a marine-grade aluminum underwater housing, a permanently attached 45 m (147 ft) HDMI cable, a permanently attached 45 m (147 ft) power cable, and a detachable underwater LED video light. Surface power allows extended operation without relying only on the GoPro's internal battery.
GoPro camera and Media Mod are not included.
The iPhone live-streaming adapter, Sony NP-F battery, tray, pole mount, macro lens, and lens filters are optional accessories unless selected separately when ordering.

Media Mod Required
A compatible GoPro Media Mod is required to provide the HDMI output used by the DNC-GP17. The GoPro camera and Media Mod are not included with the standard system.

HDMI Live View and Internal Recording
The DNC-GP17 provides a live HDMI signal to the surface at up to 1080p60. This live output can be viewed on a compatible HDMI display or sent to a recorder, capture device, or streaming system.
The GoPro can also record video to its internal memory card. Available internal recording resolutions and frame rates depend on the installed GoPro model, camera settings, firmware, and operating conditions. Internal recording resolution should not be confused with the 1080p60 surface HDMI output.
System Connection
- Install the selected GoPro camera and compatible Media Mod in the housing.
- Connect the internal HDMI and power connections.
- Close and seal the housing according to the operating instructions.
- Connect the surface HDMI Type A plug to a monitor, recorder, or capture device.

An optional compatible HDMI-to-iPhone adapter can turn an iPhone or iPad into a surface monitor, recorder, and streaming device. Depending on the selected adapter and mobile device, the setup may support:

- H.264 recording to a compatible iPhone or iPad
- Streaming through a cellular or Wi-Fi connection

Does the DNC-GP17 include a GoPro camera?
No. The GoPro camera must be purchased separately.
Is the GoPro Media Mod included?

Does the system output 5K video through HDMI?
No. The live surface HDMI output is up to 1080p60. Higher-resolution recording may be available internally on the GoPro memory card depending on the installed camera model and settings.
